Welcome to our Lunch Program!
The Prairie Hill and Willowbrook cafeterias serve full lunches each day that include a carton of milk for only $2.25. If your child brings lunch from home, they can buy a carton of milk for just 25 cents. When you send money or a check to school for lunch, it is entered into the child’s account. Each time they buy something from the cafeteria, money is withdrawn. If their account runs below $4.50, an automated reminder call will be made to the family. If the account falls below 1 cent, calls will be made on Mondays and Thursday to remind you to send money in. If a child is more than $9 in debt, they will be served an alternate lunch until their account is made current.
In addition to sending money directly to school for your child’s lunch account, you can deposit money on-line. You can monitor your student’s balance and have payments automatically withdrawn from your checking account or charged to your credit card. The e-Funds For Schools service is offered by a third party service provider and they charge a fee for processing your transactions. The District does not request or keep records of family checking or credit card information.
There is a $1.00 fee for each electronic payment you make. For payments by credit card, there is an added convenience fee of 1.99% of the payment. The system also carries a Non-Sufficient Funds charge of $15. When you set up your account, please review your options carefully.
No payments will be allowed without your knowledge and authorization through this secure payment system. If you provide an e-mail address, an e-mail notification informing you of the student’s name, purpose of payment, and amount of payment will be sent to you each time a payment is processed. The e-Funds For Schools site is secure and uses industry standard encryption.
